Michael V, also known as Bitoy, paid tribute to Nora Aunor with his portrait sketch of the late veteran actress.

It can be recalled that Nora passed away on April 16. She was 71 years old.
On his Instagram page, the comedian shared his artwork titled “Superstar.”
Along with the sketch, Bitoy penned a lengthy caption reflecting on Rico J. Puno’s thoughts on the achievements someone must unlock to earn the superstar title.

“Sometime in the 90s, narinig ko from the legendary Rico J. Puno kung pa’no maging 'superstar' sa Philippine entertainment industry and he said there are 5 requirements:
1. Dapat number one sa ratings ang TV show mo.
2. Dapat blockbuster sa takilya ang movie mo.
3. Dapat nasa playlist ng radio stations ang mga kanta mo.
4. Dapat sold out ang concerts mo.
5. Dapat maganda ang reviews ng theater/stage plays mo.”
Bitoy then reacted, “Ang hirap, ‘di ba?”
“Iisa lang ang kilala ko sa showbiz na na-achieve LAHAT ito SIMULTANEOUSLY at one point in her career… Si Nora Aunor lang,” the Kapuso Comedy Genius added.
“May iba pa ba kayong kilala in this generation sa industriya natin na kayang pumantay sa achievement n’ya?” Bitoy asked the netizens. “I seriously doubt it.”
He concluded his post by wishing Ate Guy’s soul eternal peace.
“Rest in peace, Superstar.”

Nora Aunor was a celebrated Filipino actress, singer, and producer. Known as the 'Superstar of Philippine cinema, she has earned critical acclaim for her powerful performances in films such as Himala, Bona, and The Flor Contemplacion Story. Her contributions to the arts were recognized in 2022 when she was named National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts. In 1975, Nora married fellow actor Christopher de Leon. They have one biological son, Ian de Leon, and adopted four children: Lotlot, Matet, Kiko, and Kenneth de Leon.
In a previous report by KAMI, Nadia Montenegro paid her respects to the late National Artist Nora Aunor by visiting the latter’s wake. Nadia shared a carousel post containing photos she captured from the wake. The snaps show Nora’s coffin and a couple of her portraits displayed at the venue.
Manilyn Reynes honored Nora Aunor in a heartfelt social media post. The “Pepito Manaloto” star recalled her moments with Nora when they worked together. Manilyn likewise lauded the Superstar of Philippine cinema’s kindness on the set. She also promised that she would never forget his memories of the late national.
