Kapuso actress Mikee Quintos recently visited the wake of the late National Artist Nora Aunor.

After personally paying her respects to Nora, Mikee took to Instagram Stories to share a couple of posts dedicated to the late Superstar of Philippine cinema.
In her first post, Mikee shared a photo captured from Ate Guy’s wake.
“Salamat, Mama Guy,” her on-screen caption reads.

In her other post, the young actress shared a collage showing some of her moments with Nora, which include their scenes from ‘Lilet Matias: Attorney-at-Law’ and ‘Onanay.’
She also penned an earnest caption honoring the deceased national artist.
“With her level of genius, I'm still at awe of how she was able to keep a humble heart and continued to live life with a strong sense of love for the craft,” Mikee wrote.
“A true national artist. Mahal kita, mama guy. Salamat sa inspiration,” she added, expressing her love and gratitude to Nora.

Recently, Lotlot De Leon announced the official wake and funeral arrangements for her adoptive mother, Nora.
In an Instagram post, Lotlot shared that the wake will be held at The Chapels at Heritage Park. From April 17 to 18, Thursday and Friday, the viewing would be exclusive to family and close friends. On April 19 and 20, the public will have the opportunity to pay their respects, with viewing hours scheduled from morning until afternoon. The final day of the wake, April 21, will again be reserved for family and friends only.
A mass will be held each evening throughout the wake.
The interment is scheduled for April 22 at the Libingan ng mga Bayani, with further details about the planned State Funeral to be announced soon.
Nora Aunor was a celebrated Filipino actress, singer, and producer. Known as the 'Superstar of Philippine cinema, she has earned critical acclaim for her powerful performances in films such as Himala, Bona, and The Flor Contemplacion Story. Her contributions to the arts were recognized in 2022 when she was named National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts. In 1975, Nora married fellow actor Christopher de Leon. They have one biological son, Ian de Leon, and adopted four children: Lotlot, Matet, Kiko, and Kenneth de Leon.

Nadia Montenegro recently paid her respects to the late National Artist Nora Aunor by visiting the latter’s wake. Nadia shared a carousel post containing photos she captured from the wake. The snaps show Nora’s coffin and a couple of her portraits displayed at the venue.
