The Kapamilya actress recently shared an emotional reel on her official social media page, featuring a heartwarming moment she shared with Daddy Metreng while he was still alive.

"Itong video na ito ang huling alaala na itatabi ko. Ang ating huling salo-salo sa ating munting tahanan na punong-puno ng masasayang alaala. Ang iyong huling ngiti at halakhak dito ang palagi kong aalalahanin, daddy," she began, which made netizens emotional upon reading it.

The Filipina star then apologized for not being able to be with Daddy Metreng during his final moments in the hospital, a regret she openly shared with her fans and followers on the app.

"Sorry kung hindi ko na kinaya makita ka sa ospital. Pinagsisisihan ko na hindi kita nahagkan sa iyong huling hininga. Luhaan man kami ngayon, alam namin na payapa ka na. Hindi ka namin makakalimutan, daddy."

Despite her grief, Cristine ended her tribute with words of immense gratitude and utmost love.

"Bagkos ako'y lubos at taos-pusong nagpa-pasalamat sa pag-busog mo sa akin, sa amin ng pagmamahal, pag-gabay at pag-aruga. Napaka-swerte namin lahat sayo sa lahat ng binigay mo na walang katumbas na halaga. Ikaw ang tunay naming kayamanan. Rest in peace, Daddy Metreng," she had written.
