Manilyn Reynes recently penned a heartfelt post dedicated to the late Superstar of Philippine cinema Nora Aunor, who passed away on Wednesday, April 16 at the age of 71.

On her Instagram page on Thursday, April 17, Manilyn shared a throwback photo taken when they did the 1983 film “Minsan May Isang Ina.“
In the caption, Manilyn recalled how Ate Guy never made her feel intimidated when they worked together.
“Salamat po uli, Ate Guy. Never ko pong na-feel na baguhan ako when we did ‘Minsan May Isang Ina.’”

She went on to reminisce, “Napakamapagbigay niyo hindi lang sa mga eksena natin, kundi pati na sa break time.”
“May oras makapag-usap hindi lang sa kapwa artista, kundi sa lahat ng kasama sa trabaho,” Manilyn also remembered.
The “Pepito Manaloto” star concluded her tribute post by expressing that she will forever hold such memories close to her heart.
“At hindi ko po ‘yun makakalimutan. Rest now, Our one and only Superstar.”
Recently, Lotlot De Leon announced the official wake and funeral arrangements for her adoptive mother, Nora.
In an Instagram post, Lotlot shared that the wake will be held at The Chapels at Heritage Park. From April 17 to 18, Thursday and Friday, the viewing will be exclusive to family and close friends. On April 19 and 20, the public will have the opportunity to pay their respects, with viewing hours scheduled from morning until afternoon. The final day of the wake, April 21, will again be reserved for family and friends only.
A mass will be held each evening throughout the wake.
The interment is scheduled for April 22 at the Libingan ng mga Bayani, with further details about the planned State Funeral to be announced soon.
Nora Aunor was a celebrated Filipino actress, singer, and producer. Known as the 'Superstar of Philippine cinema, she has earned critical acclaim for her powerful performances in films such as Himala, Bona, and The Flor Contemplacion Story. Her contributions to the arts were recognized in 2022 when she was named National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts. In 1975, Nora married fellow actor Christopher de Leon. They have one biological son, Ian de Leon, and adopted four children: Lotlot, Matet, Kiko, and Kenneth de Leon.
