Recently, JK and the OPM icon got reunited at the Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival in Pampanga on Monday, April 14.

JK has taken to social media to share a photo from their lovely reunion.

The “Buwan” and “Ere” hitmaker likewise uploaded a throwback photo of himself with Coach Bamboo. It is worth noting that JK was a contestant in the first season of “The Voice Kids Philippines,” where he placed third in the singing competition under Bamboo’s Kamp Kawayan.

Moira Dela Torre, who was also a member of Kamp Kawayan when she competed in “The Voice” Season 1, could not help but leave a captivating and witty comment on the photos.

Juan Karlos Labajo, also known as JK Labajo, is a singer-composer and the frontman of a band that carries his own name, Juan Karlos. He rose to fame after becoming one of the top contenders in the popular talent competition "The Voice Kids Philippines" in 2014. He placed third in the said contest, just right behind Darren Espanto and Lyca Gairanod. After The Voice, JK appeared in various shows and flicks on TV. Aside from his acting career, JK is also known as the voice and creator of the songs 'Buwan' and 'Ere.'

Bamboo Mañalac, on the other hand, is a Filipino-American singer-songwriter. He started as the vocalist of OPM band Rivermaya. He, later on, started his own band, Bamboo. In 2011, the band Bamboo disbanded and he pursued his solo career.

Daniel Padilla and JK Labajo’s photo with other celebrities at the ABS-CBN Ball 2025 went viral. In the snap, Daniel and JK were seeing posing with Ian Veneracion, Karla Estrada, Ruffa Gutierrez, and Vina Morales. The said stars were all seen beaming as they posed for the heartwarming groufie. However, one of the photos she shared caught the attention of eagle-eyed netizens, who noticed the two singers purportedly interacting. This prompted the netizens to question whether Darren and JK have already reconciled. The ‘The Voice Kids Philippines’ alumni were also seen conversing with another guy in the now-viral snap.
