Tensions between Buboy Villar and Angillyn Gorens escalated over the weekend after the latter took to Facebook to air her reaction to Buboy's recent interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.

In her now-viral online post, Angillyn did not hold back as she accused the actor-comedian of lying and manipulating the narrative regarding their past relationship and co-parenting issues.

Earlier, Buboy appeared on FTBA to address accusations Angillyn had previously made against him—primarily involving claims about financial support and the nature of their breakup as well.

While Buboy aimed to clear his name, his interview appeared to only ignite more backlash from his ex-partner who then aired her reaction to his statement on her main Facebook account.

In her now-viral post, Angillyn began by questioning the authenticity of Buboy's statements.

"Buboy Villar... 1 week ka nag-practice ng script? Ginagawa mo pa kong sinungaling at bal*w? Nakakalimutan mo na bang sinasaktan mo ko lalo pag wala kang mar*ju*n*? Galit na galit ka at wala ka sa ayos. pag wala kang ganun, nag-aaway tayo kasi panahon ni Duterte, natatakot ako na mat*kh*ng ka," she claimed, stunning many netizens in the online community afterward.

Aside from this, Angillyn also challenged the actor to back his financial claims with proof.

"I-deny mo ha? Hahaha. And last DAHIL NAPAKASINUNGALING MO. Kailan ka nagbigay ng 120k? Gusto ko i-comment mo dito or i-post mo yung proof mo na nagbigay ka ng 120k na sustento."

She also claimed that there were long periods when no financial assistance was given at all.

"10th at 25th ng month SABI MO tag-60k binibigay mong sustento at nagkakahalagang 120k, SABI MO YAN SA INTERVIEW malinaw na malinaw hahaha. Bakit hindi mo rin na-mention na 1 and a half YEAR 0 pesos binigay mo," she wrote in her explosive online post on the social media site.

Angillyn eventually ended her post by accusing Buboy of owing money to her mother—debts which, according to her, they chose not to collect anymore, for reasons she did not disclose.

"Napakarami mong utang sa mama ko na sinasabi mo babayaran mo pero di na pinabayad sayo. Nagmumukha kaming pera sayo. Kapal ng mukha, my goodness," Angillyn had written online.

In an interview with Nelson Canlas of '24 Oras,' Buboy said he would never hurt a woman. It can be recalled that in a Facebook post, Gorens shared screenshots of her alleged conversation with Buboy and accused the actor of physically hurting her.

Meanwhile, Buboy Villar and his new non-showbiz partner, Isay Sampiano, created buzz due to their cryptic posts on social media. In a Facebook story, Buboy penned a note about preferring to be quiet. Isay, on the other hand, took to TikTok to share a post showing a quote about privacy. She also penned a postscript about knowing the truth first before believing rumors.
