Actress and comedienne Kakai Bautista recently shared her candid views on love and relationships during an appearance on the online talk show “Your Honor,” offering advice to fellow single individuals and revealing her openness to dating foreigners.

“Kasi nga guys, ang ikli ng buhay naman. Go lang nang go, pero huwag mong kalilimutang maging responsible and mahalin mo rin ang sarili mo,” Kakai said.

She cautioned against reckless abandon, highlighting the need to avoid becoming a burden to others.
“Nakalilimutan kasi natin eh,” she explained, “Go lang nang go, hindi ka naman responsable. O ‘di lahat ng nakapaligid sa ‘yo, pisti ka sa buhay nila, pabigat ka, salot ka,” the comedienne further said.
“So dapat go nang go pero responsible,” Kakai stressed.
The actress also expressed a newfound openness to dating foreigners, or “AFAMs” as they are commonly referred to in the Philippines.
“Kasi dati, ayaw ko pang tsumika sa AFAM,” she admitted, “Ngayon gusto ko nang tsumika.”
However, she also laid down her terms, insisting that any potential suitor make the effort to visit her in the Philippines.
“Ang sinasabi ko lang lagi sa mga AFAM, if you want to date me or see me, you have to go to the Philippines. Or you have to make a way just to see me,” she said, stressing the importance of making a “big effort,” especially in a potential long-distance relationship.

Bautista recounted a past encounter in Switzerland where a foreigner offered to buy her a drink.
Initially playing coy, she eventually engaged in conversation, and the man expressed his desire to visit the Philippines.
“Siyempre nagpanggap akong pakipot. ‘No, I can buy my own drink’,” Kakai recalled saying initially.
However, the connection fizzled out, and Bautista later discovered that he had gotten married. This experience highlighted the importance of discerning genuine intentions.
“Tapos nakita ko na lang hindi na siya nagme-message. Nakita ko nagpakasal na,” the comedienne revealed.
Beyond her dating experiences, Bautista also revealed her long-standing admiration for actor Piolo Pascual.
“Ang pinagnanasaan ko forever, Piolo Pascual. Kasi iba talaga ‘yung karisma niya tsaka ‘yung ang bait, ang guwapo,” she confessed, citing his charisma, kindness, and good looks.
