Earlier, the actress posted videos from a hospital, where she was admitted due to an undisclosed illness, which prompted her fans and followers to wish her well in the comment section.

In one video, she is seen on a video call with Katie, expressing her vulnerability: "I'm sick, I'm here sa hospital. Di ko alam eh, ite-test pa nila ako. Pano yan? Wala ka dito, sino ang magte-take care sa akin?"

Eventually, Katie, demonstrating her affection and sense of responsibility, responded by visiting her mother afterward, saying, "Important 'to, kailangan kong mag-absent kasi ite-take care kita."

Moved by her daughter's gesture, Katrina wrote, "Napaka-sweet naman talaga, love you anak."

Katie, born in September 2012, is the daughter of Katrina with the Filipino singer, Kris Lawrence.

Despite their separation in 2014, both parents have maintained an amicable relationship, prioritizing their daughter's well-being in a healthy co-parenting setup for their unica hija.
