“All my life, do I need to be scorned and ridiculed before others see my worth?” she asked, expressing the emotional toll of online criticism.
However, Budol shared that she has since shifted her mindset when it comes to dealing with bashers. Instead of letting negativity bring her down, she now sees it as motivation.
"The more I am bashed, the more I should motivate myself to prove them wrong," she said.

Herlene Budol, also known as 'Hipon Girl', is an actress, comedian, and social media star who broke through in showbiz as a contestant on “Wowowin” and later became a host. Herlene was first runner-up and won several minor awards at the 2022 Binibining Pilipinas pageant. She was also crowned as Miss Philippines Tourism 2023 in the recent Miss Grand Philippines pageant. Herlene played the lead role in Kapuso afternoon series "Magandang Dilag."

The actress said that she would pray that he will overcome his illness. She also said that Doc Willie is their first aid. The actress also recalled the time how Doc Willie was the one who helped treat her hemorrhoids.
A month before that, the actress celebrated her 25th birthday. As she marked her special day, Herlene treated her followers to a stunning post.
