Following this news, Andi penned a short message, talking about the list, "My nanay is among other Hollywood artists and filmmakers who are remembered by The Academy this year."
It is worth noting that Jaclyn, who was a well-loved veteran star in the Philippines, passed away on March 2024, and was found in her home.
Eventually, following the reports of her passing, Andi then held a press conference where she revealed her mother's cause of death in tears.
Andi was accompanied by Gabby Eigenmann, who was spotted comforting her at the press con.
A month after Jaclyn's passing, Andi posted a new vlog where she shed tears after revealing what she last saw on her late mother's smartphone.
"I didn't plan to cry but she's been my biggest fan with everything that I do," she told their viewers.
Eventually, this year, Andi got herself a new tattoo, which she dedicated to the late veteran artist.
