Andrea Brillantes is taking on a more mature role in "Batang Quiapo," where she will be featured in a kissing scene with Jake Cuenca.

A preview of Andrea’s character in the Coco Martin-led TV series was shared by ABS-CBN’s Dreamscape Entertainment through a video posted on its Facebook page on Feb. 28.

In the clip, Brillantes is first seen at a restaurant with her accomplices as they carry out what appears to be their modus operandi.

In another scene, she enters a bathroom wearing a red lingerie dress and walks toward Cuenca, who is in a bathtub.

The two then shared an intense kiss, with Cuenca gradually taking off her dress and kissing her neck.

Alongside Brillantes and Cuenca, other cast members introduced in the teaser include Albert Martinez, Angel Aquino, Michael De Mesa, Celia Rodriguez, Chanda Romero, Shamaine Buencamino, and Dante Rivero, among others.

Brillantes recently spoke about how her role in the series differs from her previous performances in Senior High and its sequel, High Street.

"I am ready for more mature roles. We have this thing na ‘pag mature roles, parang daring, s&xy na. It’s more of like, for me, leveling up pa kasi yung mga kasama ko talaga mga bigating veterans,” she said.

Andrea Brillantes is a Filipina actress who rose to fame as a child star. Her popularity was further propelled when she played the role of Marga in the hit teleserye “Kadenang Ginto.” Along with her “Kadenang Ginto” co-stars Francine Diaz, Kyle Echarri, and Seth Fedelin, Andrea was a member of The Gold Squad. Andrea was in a romantic relationship with basketball player Ricci Rivero until their breakup around June 2023.
