Alex Gonzaga, an actress and content creator, stirred buzz after sharing a hilarious story about her dad's supposed-to-be surprise birthday party.

On Friday, February 21, Alex took to Instagram to upload the official photos that Nice Print took from the fiesta-themed celebration of her dad.

However, Alex shared a funny backstory about the party, saying they all thought their surprise was a success but got exposed by a group chat.

"Akala namin successful ang pa-surprise party namin. Pero yung ka-barkada ng daddy nag-usap usap paano sila pupunta sa group chat na andun ang daddy," Alex told her followers online.

Despite the short mishap, Daddy Bonoy still managed to have a blast at his own celebration.

In the photos, Daddy Bonoy looked extremely happy over celebrating such a huge milestone in his life together with his family and close friends.

Photos of Toni Gonzaga's children, Seve and Polly, clad in traditional Filipino outfits also made netizens gush at how cute they were at the event.

"Super cute ni Polly at Seve!" one netizen wrote while others continued to greet Daddy Bonoy.

Meanwhile, in Alex's now-viral post, the actress did not forget to thank the people behind the party that they threw for their beloved dad as well.

Among the people Alex thanked was Randy Lazaro, who is a well-known event stylist also.

"Thank you for organizing team TGS & @labellefete, @randylazaro_ for the fun fiesta design, @chefaybsparagisph for the giveaways na pinagkaguluhan, @happycup_ph for the pinoy scramble, and of course @niceprintphoto for the photo and video always," Alex had written.
