DJ and influencer Jellie Aw revealed that her and Jam Ignacio’s planned wedding will no longer push through.

She responded to Jam’s desire to proceed with their marriage in her latest interview with the media.
In the video posted by GMA News on Facebook, Jellie said her mom is one of the reasons why she called off the engagement.
“Respeto na lang din po sa magulang ko. Kasi sobrang na-trauma din po 'yong mama ko.”

Jellie went on to share how greatly affected her mom is following the mauling incident.
“Parang gabi-gabi po siya umiiyak. Hindi ko kaya. Hindi ko kaya na gano'n 'yung nanay ko. Kumbaga siya na lang 'yong natitira sa akin eh. Kumbaga iingatan ko na siya. Nang dahil do'n sa nangyari sa 'min ni Jam, naging kritikal pa 'yong nangayayari sa nanay ko ngayon.”
“Hindi po siya makatayo kagabi eh. Sa sobra siguro pong pag-aalala niya sa akin. Masyado niyang dinamdam,” the DJ added.

Just last week, DJ Jellie was rushed to the hospital after taking serious physical injuries. From a Facebook post shared by Jellie and her sister, Jo Aw, the DJ-content creator was allegedly beat by Jam.
Also in Jellie's previous Instagram stories, she posted pictures of herself with her face bloodied and swollen.
She also captioned her photo with, "magkita tayo sa kulungan" and tagged Jam in it. Jellie later went to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to file a complaint against Jam.
Along with her friends, they went to the San Fernando, Pampanga office of the NBI.
Based on their social media accounts, Jellie and Jam got engaged in November 2024.
