Alex Gonzaga took to IG and expressed sadness over the passing of Barbie Hsu, more popularly known as "Shan Cai" in the 90's hit series "Meteor Garden."

She wrote, "My Shan Chai!" and added "Rest in Peace" to her post.

Right beneath the photo of Barbie, Alex wondered what could Dao Ming Su or Jerry Yan feel.

"Thinking how would Dao Ming Su feel [crying emoji]."

Barbie died from a pneumonia-related illness in Japan, as based on the announcement of her sister.

Catherine Mae Cruz Gonzaga, or Alex Gonzaga, is a Filipina actress and comedian best known for being one of the most successful YouTube vloggers in the country. Alex debuted on television after earning a role in the ABS-CBN sitcom "Let's Go." She is now married to Lipa City councilor Mikee Morada. Alex is also the sister of actress Toni Gonzaga, a famous actress, television host, and YouTube star in the Philippines.
