On her Instagram page, Amy penned a lengthy post where she looked back on her fond memories of the late Queen of Philippine Cinema.
“Sa mga di po nakakaalam, si Tita Gloria ay naging on screen mother ko sa Palibhasa Lalaki for almost 12 years. Sya po ang aking Mommy Minerva at ako naman ang bunsong anak nya na si Ameeeeelia… ganyan nya po ako tawagin.”
As per Amy, Gloria never made her feel intimidated. She likewise remembered the late veteran actress's kindness towards her co-workers.

“Isa po akong baguhang artista noon pero ni minsan di ko po naramdaman kay Mommy na oh STAR ako si Ms.Gloria Romero ako at bago ka lang. Pantay pantay po ang pag tingin at pagtrato nya sa aming lahat.”

“At pag nagtawag na ng reading sya ang una pa din sa set tapos tatawagin nya ako Amelia di pa ba ready ang kapatid mo na si Cynthia..... wala pa Mommy nag kikilay pa po sya, Mag smile lang yon at mag aantay sa aming dining table.”
“Pag nag throwlines at blocking wala ng hawak na script si mommy dahil memorize nya ang linya nya at di pa sya sasagot until she hears your last line kasi kahit linya mo memorize pa rin nya. Ganun kahusay at galing ni mommy. Her love and dedication for her craft is something that I truly admire about her.”
The “It’s Showtime” host said she learned a lot from Gloria and attested, “Totoo din po ang mga narinig natin the past few days about her na pag nagalit parang di naman siya galit, mabait pa rin.”
Furthermore, Tiyang Amy remembered their meeting in December 2023, where Gloria affectionately told her, “Hija, maganda ka noon pero bakit mas maganda ka now?” Gloria’s remark prompted Amy to reply, “Syempre mana ako sa ‘yo.”
