In the photo captured in 2015, Sheena and the Queen of Philippine Cinema could be seen beaming as they attended a story conference.

Meanwhile, in the on-screen caption of her IG story, Sheena penned an earnest message for the late veteran actress.

Born on December 16, 1933, she rose to fame in the 1950s and became one of the most iconic leading ladies of her era. She starred in numerous classic films under Sampaguita Pictures, including Dalagang Ilocana (1954), which earned her the first-ever FAMAS Best Actress award.
