Lolit Solis, in a recent social media post, said that for her, it seems like Coco Martin and Ruru Madrid are being pitted against each other.

She used a cockfighting term when she described what’s happening.
“Salve para naman pinagsa sabong sila Coco Martin at Ruru Madrid dahil sa tapatan ng mga serye nila,” Manay Lolit said.
Manay Lolit said that this is what it seemed to her because the respective TV series of the two actors have the same time slot, although on different TV stations.

Nevertheless, the veteran showbiz columnist expressed gladness because the two popular series have their own sets of diehard followers.
“Masarap isipin parehong malakas ang hatak ng mga TV series nila at sana nga maibalik ang interest ng new generation sa panunuod ng TV,” she added.
She said that if this would help bring back people to free TV instead of getting hooked on their gadgets, then it’s a good thing.
“Dahil sa dami ng mga gadgets kung minsan hindi na nila nasisilip ang mga palabas sa free TV. Kaya nga lahat ginagawa ng network para maibigay ang mga shows na makakakuha ng interest ng mga manunuod,” the veteran showbiz columnist said.
“Medyo apektado din ang star system dahil parang nawala na ang ranking dahil na nga sa mga bagong mukha. Well, basta nandiyan parin ang mga nagmamahal sa showbiz tiyak namin babangon at muling sisigla ito.At malaki ang maitutulong ng mga writers para dito. Basta patuloy lang ang tulungan, showbiz will shine again, baka brighter pa,” Manay Lolit concluded.
Coco Martin is an actor, director and producer in the Philippines. He is much admired for his performance as Ricardo Dalisay in FPJ: Ang Probinsyano which lasted on air for seven years. At the end of that series, Coco rested for a few months and returned to Batang Quiapo.

He said that he would always encourage Julia to pursue that dream. The actor-director also promised he would do all the hard work to earn so Julia can focus on achieving her dream.
