As per Pauleen, their family was affected by the now-viral trailer, where Vic’s name was explicitly mentioned.
“Katulad lang din ng reaksyon ng asawa ko. Pareho lang po. Of course as parents and as his wife, naapektuhan po kami,” said Pauleen, based on the video of the interview posted by Inquirer.net.
She further stressed that filing the complaint is their best response to the controversial teaser.
“But of course, ito po ang tamang sagot sa lahat ng ito,” Pauleen aired.
Vic Sotto is an iconic actor, comedian, and television host in the Philippines. He is best known for being the main host of 'Eat Bulaga' and for his blockbuster comedy movies. The actor is married to actress Pauleen Luna, and they have daughters named Tali and Thia.
Vic Sotto finally broke his silence on the controversies surrounding him and Darryl Yap's movie. Earlier today, he formally filed a complaint at the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court against Yap. After which, Vic entertained press people in an ambush interview and said the charges were filed with high hopes for the justice system. The 'Eat Bulaga' host also dodged some questions from the media and left it to the hands of his lawyer, but he said, "Walang personalan ito."
Earlier, Darryl Yap issued a statement on mentioning Vic Sotto in the trailer of his film about Pepsi Paloma. In a lengthy post on Facebook, the director first tackled how the stories he presents purportedly choose him. He then aired his thoughts on the odds of offering an apology for mentioning Vic’s name.
