Vice Ganda, nawindang sa award na ibinigay ng MMFF: "Ano ba tong award na to?"

Vice Ganda was surprised when she received the Jury Citation Award.

She then gave a very frank speech, where she asked what the award was for.

"Pagtayo ko, tinatanong ko si Direk Jun at si Uge, 'ano ba tong award na to?'"

"Special Jury Citation for what? For Best Dressed for tonight? Special Jury Citation for Best Performance? Ganun ba yon? Ah okay. So salamat ho. Seriously, hindi ko talaga alam. Nagtatanga-tangahan ako, ayoko namang magpasalamat na hindi ko naiintindihan yung award."

The presenters then explained what the award was all about. After they read what the award was for, Meme then thanked everyone.

"This is the first time na meron akong award. Maraming-maraming salamat sa pagkakataon na ibinigay pa rin sa akin ng ABS-CBN. Sa mga panahon na hirap na hirap na yung kumpanya na kinabibilangan ko, ay pinipilit pa rin nilang gumawa ng magagandang proyekto, magagandang mga contents, at nagpapasalamat ako dahil sa mga pagkakataon na hindi na nila kayang gumawa ng maraming-maraming proyekto, maraming pelikula, maraming contents, isa ako sa napipili nilang gumawa ng mga pelikulang ilalabas ila bawat taon."

He then proceeded to thank the cast and the production, director of "And The Breadwinner Is."

Vice Ganda is a famous comedian, actor, endorser, and host in the Philippines. He is best known for hosting “It’s Showtime” and for his commercially successful movies in the MMFF. The superstar is currently in a relationship with Ion Perez. They got their Certificate of Commitment in a special ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Oct. 19, 2021.
