The couple was asked about their love story and Marco revealed a very cute detail.

Calling it unexpected, Marco said that their love story started in 2015, when they worked together in "Tubig at Langis."

Back then, he already had a crush on Cristine.

"I would say, unexpected because we started working with each other in 2015 sa 'Tubig at Langis,'" Marco explained.

Cristine was also asked if she was scared of falling in love again.

"I think I have some apprehensions because I got burnt already. So I feel, like right now, masyado akong very cautious. As he said nga kanina, it was unexpected, really. Wala talaga akong intonation na magkakaroon kami ng development as boyfriend and girlfriend," she told Karen.

Cristine Reyes is a popular actress in the Philippines. Her sister is veteran actress Ara Mina. She became known when she joined GMA-7’s reality TV program, StarStruck. On January 27, 2016, Cristine married Ali Khatibi in a private ceremony, and they have a daughter named Amarah. However, Cristine and Ali’s separation was confirmed in 2019. She is now dating actor Marco Gumabao.

As previously reported by KAMI, Cristine Reyes quashed the breakup rumors surrounding her and Marco Gumabao. On Sunday, August 18, Cristine returned to Instagram after she deactivated her account, worrying netizens that she and Marco had broken up. She then debunked the rumors and uploaded sweet photos with her partner.
