Janice de Belen came to her daughter Kaila Estrada's defense after individuals labeled the young actress as "anak ng cheater."

The veteran actress voiced out her honest thoughts after a media conference for her Metro Manila Film Festival 2024 movie "Espantaho."

“You know, I hate that people brand other people something like that. Sana wala kang pagkakamali ‘pag nagba-brand kang ganun. Sana wala kang pagkakamali,” Janice frankly aired.

"Kasi it's unfair. It's unfair. You know, when you brand people, you damage their reputation," said the celebrity mom.

“Nakaka-toxic. Nakakalungkot. Kaya pilitin na lang natin na happy thoughts ang i-post natin. Inspiring thoughts. Inspiring quotations. Kasi as it is, napakahirap na ng buhay, 'di ba? Let's try to uplift each other, not destroy each other,” she also stressed.

Janice de Belen is a Filipino actress, commercial model, and television host who was an ABS-CBN and GMA Network contract artist. She was considered the 80s Teen Drama Princess alongside the late Julie Vega.

As previously reported by KAMI, Janice de Belen recently took to Twitter and expressed her thoughts about divorce. Since many people are not in favor of divorce, she thinks that criminalizing infidelity would be ideal. Furthermore, her tweet went viral, and she received various comments from netizens.

Meanwhile, Janice de Belen and John Estrada's son, Yuan, was recently admitted to the hospital. Earlier, Janice posted a photo of Yuan on a hospital bed, being assisted by the nurses. Apparently, Yuan had to undergo surgery, which Janice did not disclose any further. In her next post, Janice excitedly shared that her son is now on the path of recovery.
