Senate President Francis "Chiz" Escudero responded to the media's queries on the topic of posting screenshots of private conversations.
Recently, during the Kapihan sa Senado, the senator was asked if posting screenshots of messages on social media is illegal.

He went on to share his thoughts on disappearing messages. Escudero said the user may resort to disappearing messages, which may get confusing.

Furthermore, he believes posting the screenshots without the consent of the individuals involved violated data privacy laws.
"I think so as a lawyer I think so but, again, its an allegation that needs to be proven in court. Alegasyon siya," said the Senate.
So yung ang pagkakaiba nun."
