In GMA News' report, the legal counsel of the comedienne said that she's facing 14 counts of violations of Section 8 of the SRC.
This section states that securities like shares and investments may not be sold in the Philippines without a registration statement that is duly filed with the SRC, and that the same must be approved.
However, Rufa Mae may post bail since she was not charged with large-scale estafa unlike Neri Naig.
