Southern Police District, inaresto isa umanong aktres na si "Neri" dahil sa kasong estafa

- In a statement published by the Southern Police District, they served a warrant of arrest to the 41-year-old actress and businesswoman at a basement convention center located within a mall in Pasay City last Saturday, November 23

An actress reportedly named “Neri” has been arrested by elements of the Southern Police District last Saturday, November 23.
In a statement published on the SPD’s Facebook page, police authorities said they launched a manhunt operation, which was led by Sub-Station 10 Pasay City Police personnel.
The police statement further said that their operation resulted in the arrest of an alias “Erin,” whom they identified as a 41-year-old actress and businesswoman.
In the GMA report, they identified the said 41-year-old actress as “Neri.”

According to the SPD statement, they arrested said actress at a basement convention center situated within a mall in Pasay City around 2:50 PM.
The police statement further said that the actress was arrested after she was served a warrant of arrest for 14 counts of violation of Securities Regulation Code, specifically Section 28 of R.A. 8799.
Said actress also faces the crime of Estafa under Article 315 Par 2(a) in relation to PD 1689 or Syndicated Estafa.
The two warrants of arrest were issued by different courts.

In another news, a 14-year-old boy admitted to killing his 8-year-old nephew in a town in Negros Occidental. In a report by iFM Bacolod 943, it stated that the victim’s father said the last time he saw his 8-year-old son alive was on November 19 when he left their house to go to school. The boy failed to come home that day though the father assumed he stayed at his aunt’s house as it was a bit near from their school as compared to their own home. On November 22, the father found out his son was not in his aunt’s home and so reported him as missing.
Meanwhile, in other news, a driver hit the house of a senior citizen with an iron rod after his car was hit by a wood thrown by the latter. A CCTV footage showed the incidents which happened in Vintar, Ilocos Norte. The old woman, a 74-year-old, threw a piece of wood towards the car of the driver when it passed by her house. In retaliation, the driver hammered the house with an iron rod.
