ABS-CBN News posted a video of an interview with the actor during the press conference for his comeback movie “Huwag Mo Kong Iwan.”
Tom revealed that he and his non-showbiz partner of two years welcomed their son named Korben four months ago. As per the first-time dad, he met his partner in the US after his divorce from actress Carla Abellana.
“The mom is the same person that I’ve been with for the past two years,” he shared.

According to Tom, his partner is not a Filipino and she had no idea about his celebrity status in the Philippines when they met.
“She only had an idea after we met, when some of my fans kind of start stalking,” said Tom.
“Walang connection sa showbiz,” he stressed.

Previously, Tom Rodriguez’s post on social media of a cartoon drawing of a baby boy has stirred a buzz online. In Tom’s post, one can see a cartoon drawing of what looked like a baby boy wearing a baby’s nightwear. Save for an emoji of a smiling face with hearts, there was no other caption on the said post. The actor did not give any indication as to why he posted such drawing on his social media account.
