A video of an expensive sports car slowly being consumed by fire in the middle of SCLEX has gone viral.

The car, which according to reports and the owner herself is an Acura NSX, suddenly caught fire at its back section, where the rear power unit is supposedly located.
The owner, Angie Mead King, is a well-known car enthusiast and a businessman.
Angie Mead has since then, in a social media post, expressed her gratitude to all those ho helped her during the harrowing incident.

“Thank you for checking in on me, I’m alive and lungs feel fine now. It was a short lived experience and I think the NSX is a pure drivers car,” Angie Mead said.
“Thank you to the Good Samaritan for picking me up on SLEX, The fire, towing and SLEX police were amazing and wanted to thank them for the speedy service. This was traumatic to say the least and a fire extinguisher wouldn’t have put out the flames at all,” she added.
The car enthusiast, however, did provide any explanation as to why the rear section burst into flames and devoured almost half of the expensive supercar.
Photos of how the supercar looked like after the fire incident also spread online.
Its engines and entire rear portion seemed like it’s already beyond repair.
There was also no official statement as to how much the supercar costs but a quick search online would show its price in US dollars is somewhere between $159,495 and $169,500 plus tax.
Its body is also mostly made up of carbon-fiber materials, which explains why the back section was reduced almost to a rubble after it caught fire.
Angelina Mead King, who used to be known as Ian King, is a car enthusiast and a businesswoman. She came out as a transgender in 2016. Angie tied the knot with Joey in November 2011.
Angie Mead has earlier shared a video of her supercar after the blaze was put out. The video has already gone viral. It can be recalled that the supercar suddenly caught fire in the middle of SLEX, causing its rear portion, where the rear power unit is supposedly located, to be reduced almost into ashes. In a video shared by Angie Mead herself, the sports car’s rear end was all burnt while the front section appear to be okay. Several men who looked like firefighters can also be seen in the video trying to open the front portion of the car. It wasn’t clear what type of sports car was involved in the incident as Angie Mead owns several one though Top Gear Philippines say it was her newly-customized Acura NSX supercar.
It can be also recalled that in November of 2018, Angie Mead also figured in an accident when she joined a racing event in Italy on that year. - Unfortunately, her car crashed during the competition. Her spouse Joey Mead took to social media to express her feelings towards her partner’s accident.
