In her post, she told herself that life will not always be kind, fair, or easy and that there will be things that will come unexpectedly and test one’s heart and spirit.

“Looking at her facing the ocean, I find myself whispering to my younger self. Life won’t always be kind, fair, or easy. There will be waves you never saw coming, moments that test your heart and spirit,” Sofia wrote in her post.

The actress and model also said that it will sometimes take time until one discovers where he or she truly belongs.

“It’ll take time to find where you truly belong and who belongs with you,” she said.

Despite all these, Sofia said she needs to always remind herself that strength lives within her.

“But I always have to remind myself this…. strength lives in you, even when the world feels heavy… and one day, you’ll watch your own heart out there, guiding them as best as you can. Protect them, love them fiercely, and let them find their way,” Sofia said in her post.
