Cavite City Councilor Nash Aguas recently alerted his followers about a scammer pretending to be his wife, Mika Dela Cruz.

On Instagram Stories on Friday, October 25, Nash shared screenshots of messages from the scammer.

As seen in the actor-turned-politician, the scammer asked for donations for the victims of Severe Tropical Storm Kristine.

Along with the screenshots, Nash warned everyone to beware of such fraudsters.

“This is not my wife, please beware of scammers po,” the former child star wrote.

Furthermore, Nash included details about computer-related identity theft and its penalties.

Nash Aguas is a Filipino actor, singer and model. He is known as a mainstay in the Sunday comedy gag show "Goin' Bulilit." In 2011, Aguas voiced the main character Joey Jones in the Tagalog-dubbed version of the anime series, "Heroman."

Mika Dela Cruz, on the other hand, is an actress in the Philippines. She is the sister of veteran actress Angelika Dela Cruz. Mika is now married to actor-politician Nash Aguas.

Nash Aguas and Mika Dela Cruz inspired a lot of young couples on social media after revealing that they finally moved into their new family home. Recently, Mika uploaded a video containing snippets of her conversation with Nash. She then showcased how "the same day a year after" they were finally able to move in. Needless to say, Mika's inspiring and heartfelt post tugged at the heartstrings of netizens.
