Anne Curtis, in a recent post on Instagram, requested her followers to pray for her Team Thursday as they take center stage for their “Magpasikat” performance on “It’s Showtime.”

“Magpasikat” is an annual event at the popular noontime show where hosts and other casts group themselves together into teams that try to outdo each other with their unique performances.

The teams’ performances are evaluated by a special panel of judges and the team with the highest score will receive the biggest cash prize that will be turned over to their chosen beneficiary.

All non-winning teams will receive consolation prizes.

In her post, Anne requested her followers to pray for them so they would have a smooth performance.

The actress also offered their performance to the “madlang people” and their “It’s Showtime” family.

“Today is THE day! Please pray for us that we have a smooth performance later! 🤍 This is for YOU our madlang people and our dearest Showtime family who have been with us from Day 1. October 24, 2009. 15 years ago!💘 We love you!” Anne said in her post.

She also expressed her gratitude and lifted their performance to the Almighty.

“Lord, we lift this up to you! Let’s go! #Magpasikat2024AnneJugsTeddy,” Anne wrote in her post.

Anne Curtis is a prominent actress, TV personality, recording artist, model, and VJ who began her career as a child star. She married Erwan Heussaff in November 2017 in New Zealand. They now have a child named Dahlia Amélie Heussaff, born on March 2, 2020, who is well-loved by many of her fans.

Recently, Anne shared a “kilig” post about her “It’s Showtime” co-hosts Vice Ganda and Ion Perez. She shared a photo of the couple captured during their lunch break. In the snaps, Vice and Ion could be seen sweetly looking at each other. In the on-screen caption, Anne penned her reaction to the two’s lovely backstage moment.

Meanwhile, TV host-comedienne Melai Cantiveros-Francisco, in a comment on the post of Anne Curtis, expressed surprise at the “pagod” look of the actress. Earlier, Anne posted a series of photos with the last one bearing a caption expressing how she felt. The caption, in the Tagalog dialect, emphasizes that she’s not tired and that this is what she wanted. This prompted Melai to write a comment about the photo and Anne’s caption.
