Sylvia Sanchez is very happy that she’s now a grandmother to a healthy baby boy.

It can be recalled that the veteran actress’ daughter, Ria Atayde, has given birth to her firstborn on September 23.

Ria’s husband, actor Zanjoe Marudo, earlier shared the news about the delivery of his wife to their firstborn.

In a post on IG Story, Zanjoe shared a video of the baby being wheeled in on a carrier.

It appears to be the same video that Sylvia shared on her own Instagram account.

Tagging Zanjoe and Ria, the veteran actress expressed just how happy she is to be a grandmother at last.

“🙏🙏🙏 @onlyzanjoemarudo @ria 👨👩👦❤️ 09-23-24 lola na ako!!! Yahoooo!!! 💃🕺💃 #thankuLORD 😘😘😘,” Sylvia wrote in a caption on her post.

It can be recalled that Sylvia has previously expressed on social media just how excited she is to see her first grandchild.

Sylvia Sanchez is a Filipina actress known for her dramatic roles. She is the mother of actors Arjo Atayde and Ria Atayde.

Previously, Sylvia shared on social media how happy she is at the notion that Ria would be giving birth soon, something that did occur yesterday, September 23. In that previous post by Sylvia, she revealed she would ask Ria almost everyday if her grandchild would be delivered soon. The veteran actress also said that she will give her first “apo” the shoes she bought from France. It can be recalled that it was back in June when Ria announced her pregnancy and the following month, July, Ria and Zanjoe held a gender reveal party where it became known their firstborn would be a baby boy.

In another previous Instagram post, Sylvia shared a video that brought smiles to her followers. In the said clip, she is seen with her kids, including Ria Atayde and her husband Zanjoe Marudo. The Atayde Family did the "Just Give Me My Money" trend, and the veteran actress was the one who got pranked. That's why she captioned her post with, "Hahahahaha Siraulo kasi mga to."
