A non-Spanish citizen with a residency permit could stay in the country for a specific duration of time.
A temporary residence permit would allow a non-Spanish citizen to stay in Spain for more than three months, as long as it is less than five years. This particular card can be renewed as long as the individual still meets the requirements.
On the other hand, a long-term residence card in Spain would allow one to stay indefinitely in the country and work under same conditions as the country’s citizens.
However, long-term residents won’t have all the benefits enjoyed by a Spanish citizen.
In the past interview with Rappler, Bea did mention about applying for a “Golden Visa,” which carries other benefits for the bearer.
