Direk Erik Matti has taken to Instagram and shared a screenshot of Cassandra Ong at the latest senate hearing by the Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations and Gender Equality joint by Committees on Migrant Workers; and Public Order and Dangerous Drug5.

In his capiton, he expressed his dismay at how Cassandra, whom he noted was supposed to still be in detention in Congress, was able to have her hair curled and colored.

He also noted that she was supposed to have just gotten out from the hospital.

"Anaknang! Di ba naka detain ito sa Congress up to now? And kalalabas lang ng ospital? Paano nangyari at nakapagpakulay at nagpakulot pa?!!! At saan niya ginawa yan? Sa loob ng Congress? Home service?!!!"

Erik Matti is a famous Pinoy director and filmmaker known for directing critically acclaimed movies like “On the Job,” “Honor Thy Father,” “Seklusyon,” “BuyBust,” and “On the Job: The Missing 8.” He also co-founded the production company Reality Entertainment with the son of the late film producer, Dondon Monteverde. They also co-founded the streaming service Upstream.

It can be recalled that in the past, Direk Erik also took to Instagram and penned a lengthy post about Toni Gonzaga. He said that he cannot fathom how someone who has access to history can still brush away critics and dissenters. The director also called the act as "arrogant and obnoxious," and highlighted how the host allegedly flaunted it with an insensitive hashtag. He also ended his post with the hashtag "#bothered."
