Together with his girlfriend, Julia Barreto, the real-life couple flew all the way to General Santos City where his mom currently lives.

It was his mom's 66th birthday, and it wouldn't have been complete without his birthday message.

The mom-and-son duo was a delight to see because they really seemed to have a good relationship with each other.

On the other hand, Julia being present during Mommy Vangie's special day and evidently having a good time was also proof that she's on good terms with Gerald's family.
