Pokwang, in a recent post on Instagram, shared an appreciation post for a fellow showbiz personality whom she said helped her get back on her feet again.

In her post, which she said is dedicated to her “kumareng @ogie_diaz,” she expressed her deep gratitude for the trust and belief accorded her by Ogie.

“This post is dedicated to my kumareng @ogie_diaz salamat mare sa help at pag push na bumangon akong muli matapos ang unos sa buhay ko, salamat sa tiwala mo mare 🙏🏼❤️,” Pokwang said.

The actress-comedienne and TV host also thanked Ogie for giving her advice and guidance at times she needed it the most.

She said she wouldn’t wonder anymore why Ogie receive so many blessings.

“Kaya ka maraming biyaya kasi napaka busilak ng puso mo 🙏🏼 thank you mare sa pag akay mo sakin at paniniwala ❤️ i love you mare ko 🙏🏼,” Pokie said.

The actress then thanked her fellow artists, friends, as well as regular customers who support her business.

She then announced that Mamang Pokwang’s Gourmet would be back this October.

“Ito na po ang pagbabalik ni @mamangpokwangs_gourmet this October ❤️ DOMO ARIGATO,” Pokwang said.

Marietta Subong, or Pokwang, is among the most well-loved comediennes in the industry. Her frank and motherly ways are always "patok" among Filipinos. She used to be with ABS-CBN but moved to GMA during the pandemic. Some of her popular movies are “Call Center,” “A Mother’s Story,” and “Edsa Woolworth.” She has two daughters, Mae and Malia. Recently, Pokwang gave her followers a sneak peek of how she helps in her own little ways those affected by the typhoon and floods.

In her post on Instagram, one can see bags of grocery items ready to be distributed and given away. One can also see some of her companions repacking bags of rice to also be given away. Many praised the efforts of Pokwang who, like in the past, would always lend a helping hand.

Meanwhile, last Saturday, Pokwang graced the It's Showtime's "EXpecially For You" segment as the searcher. Her eldest daughter, Mae, helped her in choosing from the three searchees. In the show, the hosts asked Pokwang if she is open to the idea of her ex and their child, Malia, having communication. The Kapuso comedienne and celebrity mom then aired a frank response.
