No less than the President of the Mrs. Philippines Organization, Erika Joy Santos, made the announcement in a recent media conference.

Earlier, the said organization answered questions about qualifications required from a candidate to qualify for the said beauty pageant.

Near the end of the conference, a reporter asked if Mrs. Angelica Yulo is qualified to join, to which Ms. Santos said yes.

“I wish to speak to Angelica. Maybe I can, you know, be somehow a relief to her. Kahit coffee lang. She's very much welcome to join Mrs. Philippines 2025. Why not?” Ms. Santos said.

Angelica Poquiz Yulo is the mother of two-gold Olympic medalist Carlos Edriel Yulo. She rose to social media prominence after Carlos’ 2024 Olympic run. Angelica is also the mother of rising Philippine gymnasts Karl Jahrel Eldrew and Elaiza Andriel.

Recently, had her live-selling session on Facebook. It was a success since she had a lot of miners for the items that she was selling. There were shirts and skincare products. In an FB post, she thanked all the miners of the things that she was selling.

She also previously shared a video that inspired many netizens. In the clip, she and her children are seen distributing food to their neighbors. Moreover, she captioned her post with, "Sharing is caring." She also added a voice-over in which she expressed gratitude to her kids for their contributions, which made it possible to buy the food.
