Ely Buendia, nawindang nang makita 'Kalokalike' niya sa “It's Showtime”: “Saw myself on Showtime?”

Ely Buendia expressed his pleasant surprise in an Instagram post when he saw his “Kalokalike” on “It’s Showtime.”

Ely Buendia appeared amused in a video posted on Instagram which showed him watching his “Kalokalike” on “It’s Showtime.”

In the caption on his post, Ely said he was taking a respite from rehearsals when he suddenly saw himself on the noontime show.

“Taking a break from UAAP rehearsals and saw myself on Showtime?” Ely wrote in his recent post.

In the video that Ely posted on Instagram, one can see him and other members of his band, the legendary “Eraserheads,” along with other companions, watching the show.

It can be recalled that “Alvin” of Pasay City appeared as “Ely Buendia” oin the “It’s Showtime” segment, “Kalokalike.”

The segment is an impersonator talent contest where contestants would showcase their best imitation of a local or foreign celebrity.

“Credits to Kapamilya TV #elybuendia #kalokalike #showtime,” Ely further wrote in his post.

He also looked very amused on hearing his “Kalokalike” mention Offshore, his record label, and also said “hi” to Audry.

It can be recalled that the OPM legend also referred to his “Kalokalike” as “lodi” in a photo shared by Jugs Jugueta on his own Instagram account.

“Hello daw, @elybumbilya and @audryhempburns!!! 🤗🤗🤗,” Jugs wrote in the caption on his post showing a photo of him and Ely’s “Kalokalike.”

The OPM legend immediately commented on Jug’s post.

“Congrats lodi!” Ely wrote.

"It's Showtime" is a Filipino noontime show comprised of well-known celebrities in the Philippines, namely, Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, Ryan Bang, Karylle and many more.

Meanwhile, Billy Crawford has also reacted to his 'Kalokalike' on "It's Showtime." On the noontime show, the hosts called Billy when his 'Kalokalike' went on stage. The dancer-host then reacted to his 'Kalokalike' and was asked to give a message. Needless to say, Billy's reaction made a lot of netizens laugh on social media.

Another "Kalokalike" contestant Andre Santos of Marikina City, who imitated the likeness and action of two-gold Olympic medalist Carlos Yulo, finally met the Pinoy Olympian. The setting of their meeting appeared to be a dressing room, though it wasn’t mentioned where it was located. Joining them was Carlos’ girlfriend, Chloe San Jose, who also gamely took a selfie with Andre. It can be recalled that Andre joined the “Kalokalike” segment of “It’s Showtime” where he impersonated the famous Pinoy Olympian.
