Cynthia Carrion, the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines (GAP) president, recently wrote a comment on Carlos Yulo’s post on Facebook.

In her comment, Ms. Carrion wished for the safety and well-being of the famous Pinoy Olympian.
She also said she will miss the two-gold Olympic medalist and also assured Carlos they would see each other when the athlete gets back.
“Be safe Carlos. Will miss you and see you when you get back,” Ms. Carrion said.

The Pinoy Olympian did not say where he was going though gave an indication that he’s going to attend the Paralympic Games.
“Embarking on the journey to meet alike athletes that 'started' their impossible. I am excited to share more about my upcoming Paris trip to meet other Team Toyota members at the Paralympic Games!” Carlos’ post read.
In a previous interview, Carlos said that he considers Ms. Carrion as his mother and one who always looks after his needs.
Ms. Carrion wrote the comment amid the controversial exchange of messages on Carlos’ post between his father, Mark Andrew Yulo, and the Pinoy Olympian’s girlfriend, Chloe San Jose.
In his comment, Mr. Yulo, or whoever handles his Facebook account, wrote a comment in Carlos’ recent post about going to the Paralympic Games.
“Masaya ako sa narating mo nak ☝️🥰 Pero dapat mag sorry ka sa nanay mo na sinabihan mong mag nanakaw ☝️🥰 para luminis yang imahen mo☝️🇵🇭,” Mr. Yulo, or whoever manages his Facebook account wrote.
Carlos’ girlfriend, Chloe, immediately supplied a reply, apparently defending the Pinoy Olympian and made some revelations and also a bit of explanation.
“Pasensya na po kayo tito, alam ko po na hindi po ikaw ang nag comment nito. pero kung gusto niyo po talaga ng ganito, bat hindi niyo din po sabihin na sinumpa po siya ni tita angge na gagapang si caloy sa lupa before po siya mag qualify sa olympics last year... :))” Chloe wrote in her lengthy reply to the comment allegedly made by Carlos’ father.
“Sinabi pa po niya na kahit ilang rosaryo pa ang ipadala niya kay caloy ay hinding hindi na po mananalo si caloy ☺️,” she further said.
“Kinuwento pa po sakin ni caloy before siya lumipad po sa olympics na sinabihan niyo po siyang galingan niya at ipagdarasal niyo po siya para pag nanalo po siya eh wala na silang masabi po jan sa bahay. dahil ang sabi niyo po kay caloy ay marami po kayong naririnig na hindi magagandang salita sakanila,” Carlos’ GF narrated.
“Matagal na panahon at ilang beses na po kami nag sorry ni caloy at nag try makipag usap po sainyong lahat, pero bakit po ganito? pero wala na po yun tito eh, nakapag patawad na po kami and we're always praying for you po. godbless us all po, let's all pray na lang po for healing, guidance and love from HIM ☝🏻🙏🏻,” Chloe concluded.

Carlos Edriel Yulo is a Filipino artistic gymnast known for his exceptional skills and achievements in gymnastics. He gained international recognition for his performances in various competitions, particularly in the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. He won two gold medals in gymnastics' men's floor exercise and men's vault in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Recently, Carlos' lookalike, Andre Santos of Marikina City, finally meets the Pinoy Olympian. The setting appeared to be a dressing room, though it wasn’t mentioned where it was located. Joining them was Carlos’ girlfriend, Chloe San Jose, who also gamely took a selfie with Andre. It can be recalled that Andre joined the “Kalokalike” segment of “It’s Showtime” where he impersonated the famous Pinoy Olympian.
In a video previously posted by ABS-CBN News, Carlos showed he can catch attention not only with his superb gymnastics skills but also with his dance moves. During his visit to ABS-CBN, Carlos amused the news anchors and staff of TV Patrol Express with his unique dance moves. The phenomenal Pinoy gymnast danced to the tune of one of the latest dance trends on social media. It can be recalled that Carlos received a warm welcome from the officers and personnel of ABS-CBN.
