Line Producer Dennis Evangelista debunks Joel Lamangan's 'inabuso' post

Dennis Evangelista, a line producer, has debunked a post that allegedly came from Director Joel Lamangan regarding an artist's post.

"Hindi 'to galing kay Direk Joel Lamangan," the line producer began in his now-viral post on Facebook, earning attention online.

According to Dennis, the famous director has a poser that is pretending to be him, and getting money from people who want to become an artist.

"May poser si Direk Joel Lamangan na nagpapanggap na siya, kumukuha ng datung sa mga gustong mag-artista at pinag-brief online. Tungkol sa pahayag ng artista na allegedly ay pinatatamaan ang sikat na director," he said.

On Facebook, Dennis continued by saying Direk Joel does not speak this way at all and that he is too busy to find the time to make such online posts.

"Hindi ganitong mag-salita at hindi niya legit na account itong naka-post na 'to. Hindi rin niya ugaling manlait ng tao. Sa kasalukuyan ay busy si Direk Lamangan kaya wala siyang panahon pumatol sa mga ganitong isyu," he said.

Joel Lamangan is an award-winning Filipino director and actor. One of his notable films was "Flor Contemplacion."

As previously reported by KAMI, Joel Lamangan expressed hopes that young director Darryl Yap would find it in his heart to work for the truth that serves a lot of people. He expressed this wish during an interview with reporter Cristy Fermin in her show Cristy Ferminute. According to the famous director, Direk Darryl would definitely look back on his past as he grows older.

Meanwhile, Joel Lamangan expressed his wonder as to why a lot of people enjoy his character, Roda, in the hit series, Batang Quiapo. In an interview with Ogie Diaz, the director could not help but ask, "Bakit ba kayo natutuwa sa akin, ang sama-sama kong tao?" Joel even added, "Hindi naman ako comedian. Salbahe ako doon."
