Claudine Barretto, in a live broadcast on social media, shared her two cents on the much-talked-about issues surrounding Sandro Muhlach and Gerald Santos.

The veteran actress expressed support for the male artists, who claimed of experiencing sexual abuse at the hands of powerful individuals in the entertainment industry.

“Although grabe 'yung pinagdadaanan nila, I'm just glad na lahat 'to lumalabas para makamit 'yung hustisyang kailangan nila,” said Claudine.

Furthermore, Claudine aired her honest thoughts on Gerald’s case.

“Again, I support Gerald, 100 percent. Huwag po nating kwestiyunin kasi po ang tao na may pinagdaanan na ganyan, hindi ho agad-agad nagsasalita. ‘Pag namolestiya ka, na-sexual harass ka, hindi po agad-agad nagsasalita.”

Sandro Muhlach, whose full name is Allessandro Martinno M. Muhlach, is the eldest son of veteran actor and former child star Niño Muhlach. He started as a theatre actor when he was 13 years old and he is now a Kapuso artist.

Sandro and Niño Muhlach have formally filed a complaint before the Department of Justice. On Monday, the actors filed a complaint of rape through sexual assault. According to an ABS-CBN News report, the complaint is against GMA independent contractors Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz. In an interview with reporters, Niño shared how filing the case gave him some relief.
