Pokwang at anak na si Mae, may emosyonal na mensahe para sa isa't isa sa 'EXpecially For You'

Pokwang, who has been single for the past three years, joined It's Showtime's "EXpecially For You" as a searcher.

The Kapuso comedienne graced the segment on Saturday, August 17, along with her eldest daughter, Mae.

Before the chosen searchee was introduced to Pokwang, the latter and Mae gave each other emotional messages.

In her message, Mae urged her mom to take good care of herself.

"Gusto ko lang sabihin na alagaan mo 'yung sarili mo. Hindi lang sarili, siyempre 'yung puso mo rin. 'Yung nangyari sa'yo, yung past mo, lesson learned na 'yon. Alam mo na 'yung tama at mali. Siyempre, kaming pamilya mo, full support kami sa'yo, alam mo 'yan at gusto lang namin na maging masaya ka."

"I love you so much," Mae added.

Pokwang, who could not help but cry, vowed to always support Mae.

“Mae, gusto kong malaman mo na I'm your best friend, I'm your wind beneath your wings. Ako 'yung unang makakaintindi ng mali mo. Ako 'yung unang-unang tatanggap ng mali mo. Akong 'yung lagi mong makakasama sa tawa. Andito lang ako lagi sa abot ng aking makakaya. Kahit ano na 'yung edad ko, kahit uugod-ugod ako, gusto kong maiparamdam sa inyo kung papano kayo minahal ng mama noong paglabas niyo sa sinapupunan ko.”

She likewise dubbed Mae and Malia the "best, best gift" she ever received.

Mamang Pokwang went on to tell Mae, "Sorry kung may mga nakaligtaan si mama na kailangan ko rin palang i-inform ka. I'm so sorry, anak."

"Thank you sa lahat ng sakripisyo mo, sa pagmamahal mo sa akin para lang maging masaya ako. Thank you, anak. I love you," the celebrity mom fondly added.

In the photo, Pokwang could be seen smiling with Ria Mae and Francine Malia, who also smiled for the camera. However, what netizens noticed was Pokwang's reminder dedicated to all the ladies out there.
