Gerald Anderson recently posted a heartwarming message on social media for his girlfriend, Julia Barretto.

The actor made the post on his Instagram Stories after the screening of the movie, “Un/happy For You.”

In his message, Gerald first congratulated Julia for her superb performance and then recognized the hard work that his girlfriend poured into the movie.

“Congratulations. You worked so hard and deserve everything. I'll always be a fan,” Gerald said.

It can be recalled that the said movie features Julia and her ex-boyfriend, Joshua Garcia, as main characters.

According to an article in the Cosmopolitan magazine, the ex-couple started dating officially way back in 2017, though parted ways in 2019.

As for Gerald and Julia, the two were paired in a movie together for the first time in May of 2019.

At the time, Gerald was in a relationship with Bea Alonzo, though their romance have become somewhat rocky.

In the same year, Gerald parted ways with Bea, with rumors pointing to Julia as the reason, something that the latter squarely faced and denied.

In March of 2021, Gerald and Julia said they are officially dating, with the actor saying that Julia is his source of happiness.

Meanwhile in another post, Gerald was awarded a medal by the Philippine Coast Guard. This was due to the actor's selfless act during the onslaught of Typhoon Carina in the Philippines. Video highlights from his recent awarding ceremony was shared by Star Magic Philippines. Many praised the actor once more for being active in helping others during the typhoon.
