Content creator Ilead, nagmamakaawa ngayon kay Mon Confiado na i-withdraw sinampang kaso

- A content creator is appealing for mercy from Mon Confiado after the actor filed a complaint against him with the National Bureau of Investigation

- In an email sent to Rappler, the said content creator, who goes by the user name Ileiad, said he did not foresee the repercussions of his actions

- Ileiad, whose real name is Jeff Jacinto, also informed Rappler in his email that he already pleaded with the actor through an online message

- He also claimed to be presently at the receiving end of harassment and death threats

The content creator who was the subject of a complaint that actor Mon Confiado filed at the NBI is pleading for mercy.

In a Rappler report, the media outlet said the content creator, whose real name is Jeff Jacinto and goes by the name of Ileiad on the Internet, sent an email saying he already made a plea with the actor through an online message.

Jacinto also said that he did not foresee the repercussions of his actions and regretted he did not take down the post on seeing the actor’s comment in the comments section.

“'Not foreseeing the repercussions, I wish I could have just taken it down the moment I saw him in the comments,” Rappler quoted Jacinto as saying in his email.

In a previous PhilStar report, it stated that Mon filed a cyberlibel complaint against Jacinto for posted a false story about him.

The actor also shared a post on his Facebook account showing a photo of him at the National Bureau of Investigation or NBI.

In a report by Daily Tribune, it quoted Mon saying that his filing of a complaint against Jacinto at the NBI should serve as a lesson for everyone, particularly those who wanted to make jokes for content.

“Nawa’y maging aral sa iyo ito at sa ating lahat. Na ang paggamit ng pangalan at larawan ng walang pahintulot ay krimen. Mon Confiado is a well-known actor in the Philippines. He is the son of veteran actor Angel Confiado. Because of Mon’s skill in acting, he has been given several awards by different awards giving bodies in the Philippines.

Recently, Mon named the content creator who spread falsehoods about the actor in a post. It can be recalled that the content creator made a post about meeting Mon in a grocery store but that the actor disparaged him. The actor said he confronted the said content creator and the latter admitted it was only a joke. Mon wouldn’t take any of it and today, he named the said content creator in the complaint he filed today with the National Bureau of Investigation.

It can be recalled that Mon slammed a content creator after the latter posted a false story about the him. The said content creator, aside from using Mon’s name, also used some of his photos. According to Mon, the content creator spread a false story about meeting him at a grocery store where he allegedly became angry and did not pay for the items he got from the said store. Because of this, Mon threatened the content creator with legal action if he does not take down his post.
