Rica Peralejo, a Filipina celebrity, has recently addressed Carlos Yulo's viral statement video about his mother and their relationship.

In the video, Carlos revealed he had already forgiven his mother and told the latter that they should all move on already from the issue.

According to Rica, she is aware a lot of people found the video to be "distasteful" but on her end, she understood why Carlos did it.

On Instagram, Rica said what Carlos's mother did was "painful" and that the latter has a different kind of power since they're the parent.

Rica also mentioned that while Carlos could have stayed quiet, perhaps his pain is deep that he felt the need to address the issue at hand.

"Saw the sad Carlos Yulo response to his mother and I know many find it distasteful and yet, naiintindihan ko siya because masakit talaga ang ginawa ng nanay niya. Iba ang power ng magulang sa isang anak, lalo na with their kind of relationship na para siyang "mommyger." Definitely, he could have done better by staying quiet but the pain must be so deep he needed to practice his agency to not feel crushed," she wrote.

Rica Peralejo is an actress who used to be a cast member of “Ang TV.” The former actress is now married to a Christian pastor named Joseph Bonifacio. They have two children, Philip Nathaniel and Manu.

Meanwhile, Rica Peralejo just penned a wonderful note for her son, Manu. Manu, who is celebrating his 5th birthday, received a tear-worthy message from the actress. On Instagram, Rica uploaded a throwback video of when she gave birth to Manu. She then greeted him with a happy birthday with a lengthy online post.
