EJ Obiena won the hearts of the Filipino people after he valiantly admitted defeat, cried, and apologized on live TV for having come short in the Olympics, in an interview with OneSportsPH.
"I'm happy for everybody who got a medal, I'm happy for my friends, they deserve it. But it doesn't give me a little bit of shade of less pain."
