Ina ni Carlos Yulo, nagpatulong kay Atty. Fortun sa gitna ng bashing na natatanggap

- The mother of Carlos Yulo, Angelica Poquiz Yulo, has sought the help of Atty. Raymond Fortun

- The well-known lawyer took to Facebook and said that he has been asked by the mother of Caloy to speak on her behalf

- Atty. Fortun said that all statements that were "critical" or disparaging towards Caloy, attributed to her, were fake and untrue

- He also revealed that she will be seeking the help of the NBI to identify those who were responsbile for such statements

Angelica Poquiz Yulo, the mother of Carlos Yulo, sought the help of Atty. Raymond Fortun, and tasked the latter to speak on her behalf.

The lawyer said that the statements that were made, which were disparaging and or critical of Carlos, which were attributed to her were all fake.

He also underscored that Angelica will be seeking the help of the NBI on the subject, and even advised the public to delete their comments so as to avoid prosecution.

Here is the full statement of Atty. Fortun:

"I HAVE BEEN ASKED BY MRS. ANGELICA POQUIZ YULO TO SPEAK ON HER BEHALF.

The public is hereby informed that ALL statements made attributed to Mrs. Yulo and/or any of her children that are critical of, disparaging or tend to tarnish the accomplishments of her son, CARLOS EDRIEL YULO are untrue, fake, and mere products of imagination and fantasy by heretofore unknown individuals.

Mrs Yulo will be seeking the help of the National Bureau of Investigation in identifying these individuals, and will be filing the appropriate charges against them for Violation of RA 10175 (Anti-Cybercrime Law).

The public is hereby reminded that the sharing of these fake posts, as well as harsh and libelous comments made in said posts, are also actionable under the Anti-Cybercrime Law. It is advisable that the public DELETE their comments to avoid prosecution.

Mrs. Yulo had indeed given two (2) interviews to mainstream media. It is regrettable, albeit expected, that only her comments regarding his relationship with Ms. San Jose were uploaded.
