The Olympian gave the country a gold medal in men's floor exercises of the artistic gymnastics competition.

"Caloy," as many would call him, will be given P10,000,000 by the government as mandated by Republic Act 10699, GMA News reported.

He would also be given by the Philippine Sports Commission an Olympic Gold Medal of Valor from the Philippine Sports Commission.

Carlos Yulo is a Filipino artistic gymnast known for his exceptional skills and achievements in gymnastics. He gained international recognition for his performances in various competitions, particularly in the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. He has now brought home the first gold medal in gymnastics of the Philippines in the Olympics.
