"My sweet, smart, loving, hilarious, one-of-a-kind Tita Alexa, my heart has been broken since the day you were diagnosed because you have always deserved nothing but the best this life has to offer. You fought a courageous battle and handled every hardship with so much grace, positivity, and faith in the Lord. You have been a consistent supporter, confidante, mentor, and auntie, and I never wanted to know a world without you. You are so easy to love, which made saying goodbye to you the hardest thing I have ever been through. I missed you the second you left," she wrote.
"One of my favorite memories - being your junior bridesmaid! Even if I was so young at the time, you did your best to make me feel included in all the wedding festivities including your bridal shower. So much of who I am today is a reflection of growing up by your side and I will hold every moment so close to me."

Sharmaine Ruffa Rama Gutierrez, more popularly known as Ruffa Gutierrez, is a beauty queen, actress, and model from the Philippines. She is the daughter of celebrities Eddie Gutierrez and Annabelle Rama. She was the second runner-up in Miss World 1993 pageant. She has two children, Lorin Gabriella and Venezia Loran, with her former husband, Yilmaz Bektas.
