She then recalled what happened to them in Quezon City, revealing she was driving when a truck hit their car and that it was her first time.

"Mama ko, sobrang maalaga ever since bata pa ako. Pero nung mga 18 years old ako, nagda-drive ako sa QC kasama si mama nung may bumangga samin na truck ng softdrinks. Buti kotse lang yun na-damge pero first time mangyari sakin yung ganun," she recalled.

According to Maricar, she just followed her mother to the police station and that she did not do anything at all regarding the said incident.

"At 18 years old, wala akong kahirap-hirap. Bumuntot lang ako kay mama, siya ang umako ng lahat," she recalled in the now-viral video.

Looking back, Maricar wished her mom had pushed her to talk to the driver and settle things on her own so she'd learn to be more courageous.
