Alice Guo, maaaring nakalabas na ng Pilipinas gamit ang Chinese passport

- Alice Guo may have already left the Philippines using a Chinese passport

- This was the statement of Sen. Win Gatchalian over Radyo 630 on Wednesday

- The senator, however, said that based on their information from the Bureau of Immigration, Guo Hua Ping was still in the Philippines

- He said that if Alice would be leaving through the airport or seaport, she would be detected, but added that there are many ways to leave the country

Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian shared on Wednesday that there is a possibility that Alice Guo may have already left the country using her Chinese passport., Inquirer reported.

The senator, over Radyo 630, said that while based on information from the Bureau of Immigration, Guo Hua Ping is still here in the Philippines, there are actually other ways to leave the country.

He also noted that if she would be leaving via air or sea, she would be detected.

“Sa mga infotmation namin sa Bureau of Immigration ay nandito pa sya dahil cheneck namin kung si Guo Hua Ping ay umalis na ng Pilipinas, wala naman silang nakitang ganun na record so far,” Gatchalian said over Radyo 630.

“So kung dadaan sya sa ating mga airport, at dadaan sya sa seaport, made-detect sya. Pero alam naman natin na meron pang ibang paraan para makatakas,” said Gatchalian.

Alice Leal Guo is the Mayor of the Municipality of Bamban, Tarlac. She won as mayor during the national elections in 2022. She became known nationwide after her name was dragged into the ongoing Senate investigations regarding Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations or (POGO) and the alleged proliferation of illegal immigrants. Her name has been the subject of many online memes since then. Now, the Senate has ordered her arrest for not attending the hearings.

She even created a new video, highlighting her thoughts about the matter.

In another related news posted several years ago, DOLE confirmed that the number of Chinese illegal workers in the Philippines appeared to have increased. Philippine senators, at the time, expressed their opinion about the matter. They said the government should be stricter in granting permits.
