Actual autopsy reports on the cadavers of Pampanga beauty queen Geneva Lopez and her boyfriend Yitzhak Cohen have been released by the NBI.

Copies were published by GMA News and a perusal of of the reports would show detailed explanations on the bullets that entered the bodies of the victims.

Both reports indicated "gunshot wounds."

For Geneva, the cause of death was "gunshot wound, back, left side."

For Yitzhak, it was "gunshot wound, chest, left side."

It was on June 21 that Geneva and Yitzhak were reported missing.

On July 6, Saturday, ABS-CBN News reported about decomposing bodies of a male and a female in a quarry site in Brgy. Sta. Lucia, Capas, Tarlac found by the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO)

Another media outlet, the Inquirer, at the time said that the police refused to give more details on the unearthed corpses.

Later on, authorities confirmed that the bodies indeed belonged to Geneva and Yitzhak.

Geneva Lopez is a 27-year-old model and beauty queen who was reported missing on June 21, 2024. She was with her boyfriend, 37-year-old Israeli national, Yitzhak Cohen. The two were last seen in Tarlac. On July 6, police authorities say they have found the decomposing bodies of the couple in a quarry site in a faraway barangay in Capas, Tarlac.

Earlier, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) shared to the public some details of the autopsy conducted on the bodies of Geneva Lopez and Yitzhak Cohen. According to the agency, as per the report of GMA News, each of the victims sustained two gunshot wounds. The beauty queen had a wound at the back of the torso, which exited on her chest, and one on the thigh. Her boyfriend had a gunshot wound on the chest and one near the armpit.

Meanwhile, an urn containing the ashes of one of the two bodies that were found in a quarry in Capas, Tarlac has been brought home by the family. According to GMA News, the urn is believed to be that of Geneva Lopez. The video posted by GMA showed a Toyota Fortuner parked outside the funeral home in Tarlac. A man could be seen carrying an urn as he comes out of a door from the funeral parlor.
